What I have been doing: Antiquing in the Blue Mountains: There’s just something about holding a piece of the past, you know? Ended up acquiring an old ginger jar and this 1940’s cocktail dress – just couldn’t resist. Doesn’t fit, but I couldn’t not have it! Also, while I was out and about, I couldn’t help but peek at some properties in agent’s windows. You know me, always curious! All in all a perfect day out!

What I have been reading: ‘Blood Work’: Rereading Michael Connelly’s ‘Blood Work’. It’s the one that Clint Eastwood turned into a film. It’s strange how dated it feels now – characters using pagers, phone booths, and VHS tapes. The good thing about being older is memory loss. I can’t remember whodunnit so I get to revisit all my favourite books as if they’re new releases – just set in the 1990’s!

What I have been baking: Had a sweet tooth so I made a lemon yoghurt cake with cream cheese icing (yes in my trusty Thermomix). And guess what? I swapped out sugar for Equal. Tasted the same but less guilt cause it was healthy! At least that’s what I told myself!

What I have been watching: ‘A Haunting in Venice’, the latest Hercules Poirot film with Kenneth Branagh. Classic Agatha Christie mystery, full of twists and turns. Won’t spoil it for you with any details, but if you’re in the mood for a good detective story, give it a go.
