What I have been reading: I reread “Questions are the Answer” by Alan Pease. An easy read and so insightful. Alan has worked with us many times as a keynote speaker and also collaborated on our partner program course with us. He is not just masterful at body language but a genius when it comes to emotional intelligence – this is a must read if you want to understand yourself and become more adept and commanding in your interpersonal relationships.

What I have been watching:  “Falling For Figaro” – a feel good romantic comedy with Joanna Lumley. About chasing your dreams and the unexpected twists and turns life takes if you just show up, lean in and go with it.

What I am focused on: Parenting parents! It’s so full on. I thought I was finally done because my kids had all just left school. I have a business idea from all this though – they have career counsellors to guide kids as to options for their future, why not a similar service to explain to you what is going on when you need to care for elderly parents, what to expect and potential available options and how to access the help you require!

What I have been doing: I ramped up my property search to a whole other level this week. I had no choice but to lift my game to stay ahead of the super-achievers in the 5 day property challenge. Nothing like a good challenge to hold your feet to the fire and force you to pull off something extraordinary – still negotiating but will share more if and when the deal is done!
