Reserve Bank has lifted interest rates for the ninth time in a row, increasing the cash rate by 0.25 percentage points to 3.35 percent with more increases expected.
Two of the major banks, ANZ and Westpac, forecast the cash rate to reach as high 3.85 per cent by May 2023.
